Mirage Main Deployment Bag

Inboard line stowage enhances main opening sequence.

• Every Mirage has a corresponding main bag that matches the shape and dimensions its main container.  Use the container’s size bag, regardless of canopy size.  Use of other main bags will affect the correct fit and may affect the appearance of your rig.
• Only Mirage parts have been tested by Mirage – cross brand parts are not recommended.

The Mirage main deployment bag line stowage system includes four main locking grommet stows, and two inboard stow attachment anchors.  This line stowage system is designed to reduce the amount of “bag rock” or oscillation that can take place during deployment.  We also use an upgraded Parapak nylon material in construction for durability.  To create the Mirage G4’s tapered shape, we custom tailored the main deployment bag to match the lines of the container.

The components of any device tend to wear out after repeated use, and the fabric materials in your Mirage are no exception.  Experience has proven that some fabric components are subject to more wear than others and need to be inspected frequently, and replaced periodically. Main Deployment Bag should be replaced every 300 to 500 jumps or sooner if damaged or excessively worn.
